About Race Fit Training and Supplements, a Motocross Supplement Company Built by a Racer

Race Fit Training and Supplements is a motocross supplement company and training business run by John Sanford. He started both for the same reason: racers need to recover well and keep going when the last lap hits.

Who is John Sanford?

John Sanford, ACSM PFT, CCNREMTP (ret).

John has been a motocross racer, an off-road racer, a paramedic, a horse trainer and a personal trainer. He served a few years with the 101st Airborne (Air Assault) as a sniper with the 187th Infantry Regiment. Through all of it he learned how the human body works, how to train it and the importance of accuracy.

He's done health, fitness and training for over 40 years. In his 50s now, he's learned how to stay in shape, work around injuries and prevent them. As a personal trainer he's worked with people from motorcycle racers to seniors, including people training around orthopedic problems and strokes. As a critical care nationally registered paramedic (retired), he gained a perspective on fitness and nutrition that shaped Race Fuel.

Why did John create Race Fuel?

John grew up racing motocross and riding off-road. In Arizona he raced two-hour hare scrambles and enduros through the desert, and he trained for racing with 90-minute HIIT workouts in the gym. He wanted a recovery and performance supplement that didn't depend on caffeine, sugar or stimulants, so he began developing one. Race Fuel Performance Supplement, a blend of nine ingredients formulated for endurance and recovery, is the result.

He no longer races, but he still loves to push it. He sometimes works out for two hours and burns 1,000 calories or more, and his mountain bike rides can last three hours. Race Fuel supports that kind of work. It doesn't replace proper nutrition and training, and John reminds everyone to hydrate and use electrolytes when needed.

What does Race Fit Training and Supplements stand for?

Our tagline says it: Racing is life. Where do you want to finish? Ride boldly. Train smart. Recover well.

We make one supplement, and we make it for people who work hard. We're honest about what it does and what it doesn't. Race Fuel supports recovery and endurance. It doesn't replace training, food, water or sleep, and it doesn't promise to fix arm pump. The pouch says it too: life is a race, where do you want to finish?
